This past week we celebrated America’s Day of Independence. As Americans we’re an independent sort of people by nature. Even so, we’re also fairly strong on the community front.

Though July 4^th has come and gone, my friend Shane Claiborne wrote an excellent piece on Huffington Post this past week that is certainly worth a read at any time of the year. I hope you’ll read it as it is full of thought provoking ideas for working toward the greater good of ‘all.’
