Hello! Mike Morrell here guest-posting for Tim. Over the next two weeks, Tim will be traveling with a team on a Peace Tour of the Holy Lands in the Middle East. He hopes to be able to give us dispatches from his journeys while abroad, but in case that’s not possible (due to the sensitive locales they’ll be sojourning in, as well as the pace of their schedule), we’ll be doing a feature here I’ve dubbed Signs of Life. At Presence, the ministry Tim launched in the late 1990s. we’ve been looking at life through a lens of four quadrants: Covenantal (or Spiritual), Personal, Organizational, and Societal. Over the next two weeks we’ll be spotlighting signs of this life in all quadrants in the form of blogs we enjoy reading. I hope that you’ll give your feedback about the blogs we feature, as well as nominate some blogs of your own in these categories, in the comments sections of these posts. It’ll be a great way to expand our circle of experience and fellowship in the sites we frequent.
For this inaugural Signs of Life post, I’d like to highlight five blogs from close, longtime friends of Presence. These folks blog about a wide range of topics, but are perhaps best-known for blogging in the Covenantal sphere, from a standpoint that God has fulfilled all of God’s promises in the person and work of Jesus, so that now we live in an open-ended universe full of possibility. These bloggers don’t share some kind of ‘hive-mind’ – meaning, they don’t all say the same things or communicate in the same way, but they’re an inspiring group of individuals who always give us something meaningful to ponder. So if you’ve been enjoying PostChristian and want to add some like-hearted blogs to your Feed, consider these:
Kevin Beck @ Transmillennial & Kevin’s Living Earth
Amie May @ WomenBeyond & Talk Grace
Graham Old @ Leaving Munster (Graham claims to have ended this blog, to which we say “Harumph!” and also “Regardless, the archives here are worth their weight in platinum.”)
Dena Brem @ Shalom, Dena & Serendipities by Dena
Who else would you add to this list, in the category of a fulfilled story, realized eschatology, or however you’d like to put it?

Hello Mike,
Our paths have crossed a couple of times by email…you probably don’t remember me. It’s good to see you here. The blogs you mentioned are the same ones I read.
Have a great day!

Oh yes — I second the nod to Bill Dahl … great stuff, and he’s generous with sharing his site with others … put me on this month. His site, “The Porpoise Diving Life” is a great resource!

Hey, Mike.
Thanks for the over-generous mention of Leaving Munster! Though I don’t expect to re-open that blog, I have just started at http://www.thinkhappy.org again. It’s not spirituality, as such, but some folks might still find it interesting.
Cheers.

Yay – Graham is blogging again!!!!

Hey Mike, great to see you filling in here. A friend I’ve got to know over the last while is Bill Dahl, I’ve followed him for a long time. He always inspires, encourages and stretches the conversation.
