Holidays. Drats. What a mixed bag.

Some of us discover great joy and peace because, after all, there are friends and family and food and all that stuff. We rejoice at seeing folks we haven’t seen for a while. And perhaps best of all, we get to stuff ourselves guilt-free because, hey, it’s Christmas!

Others of us discover great despair because, after all, there are friends and family and food and all that stuff! Let’s be honest, our friends always seem to make it over when there’s free food and drink on the table. And as for our family, well, don’t ‘they know’ that ‘we know’ that they really can’t wait to leave because there’s not much to say anyway? Yuck, how uncomfortable. Continue reading…

The Christian Universalist Association (CUA) celebration 2009 will be held in Nashville Tennessee, November 6-8, 2009. For a full list of topics, speakers/bio’s and to register go here!
